Xavier didn't have a great day at the plate, going 0-4, all coming by the way of strikeout. But he did get the job done in Rightfield contributing with his glove getting 5 put outs and 1 assist. The Long Island Whalers put up a good fight with the score tied 3-3 up until the 6th inning. The Long Island Bears strung together a couple of hits and the Whalers commit a couple of errors in the 7th and 8th innings and were not able to catch up to the Bears. Whalers lose 7-3.
